Start a School Link

Our School Linking Programme connects a school, pupils and teachers with a specific community and its school in Ethiopia, and enables a truly committed and long-term relationship between the schools involved.

Meaningful school fundraising

Do you want to link your school’s fundraising to life changing projects and meaningful learning experience for your students, with lesson plans, galleries, assemblies and more?

Classroom Lessons & Resources

Our range of teaching resources for Primary and Secondary school students, covering topics as diverse as Climate & the Environment, ‘A Day in the Life’, Health and Food.

Visit Ethiopia

Link Ethiopia helps to organise trips, and secure funding, for teachers wishing to visit their partner schools in person. We have lots of experience to share and we’re here to help.

Connect your classroom to Ethiopia! Whether you’re looking for a one-off connection with a class in Ethiopia or a long-term link with a whole school, our programme of equitable partnership with schools, students, teachers and communities are for you.

Global Learning Project

Link your school’s fundraising to life-changing projects and take part in a one-off Global Learning project – bringing together fundraising & learning. Explore the challenges faced by young people living in poverty with your students and work on a shared project, supported with assemblies, lessons, photos and more.

Without the need to commit to the annual fee or to a sustainable link lasting a number of years, you can choose to root your school fundraising in an understanding of education and poverty in a country like Ethiopia. This is absolutely the best kind of fundraising; it can be the point at which people begin to engage in global issues, realising that poverty and inequality is a global challenge and one where they can create change.

A full School Link – our most complete global learning experience. Connect to a school, pupils and teachers in a specific community in Ethiopia, and begin a truly committed and long-term partnership. Engage in multiple shared learning projects with your Ethiopian partners every year, backed up with a whole host of resources – from assemblies and lesson plans to fundraising activities and videos.

We’ve enabled and championed hundreds of schools, across the UK and further afield, to build sustainable, rewarding links for over 20 years. If you want to give your students the opportunity to broaden their horizons, explore the wider world, engage with important issues (such as the refugee crisis), and root fundraising to a tangible, meaningful cause, then this programme is for you.
