Ethiopia is situated in the Horn of Africa and is surrounded by its immediate neighbours - Sudan, Kenya, Somalia, Djibouti and Eritrea. It is rich in history, and the great trading civilisation of Axum was world-renowned immediately after the birth of Christ. Today, Ethiopia contains a wondrous variety of sights and sounds that are, for the African tourist, one of the best kept secrets of all.
Link Ethiopia's work is based in the north of the country, with an office and its Link Ethiopia Manager situated in the ancient city of Gondar, capital of the kingdom for nearly three hundred years from the seventeenth century onwards.
Originally initiated in the schools of Gondar itself, Link Ethiopia is constantly widening its scope geographically, with links to schools in an ever-increasing area around the north, east and south of Lake Tana. For more information, see this website and its very thorough Guide to Ethiopia.
In the UK, Link Ethiopia is based in London, and its Head Office address is:-
