Chris Grant is the Director of Link Ethiopia. After a first exploratory visit in 1995, Chris has returned to Ethiopia twice a year since then to plan and ensure the success of his unique venture. A teacher and a classical musician by training, it is nevertheless Ethiopia that now inspires his constant enthusiasm.

Matt Stockdale is the Assistant Director of Link Ethiopia. First visiting the country in 1998, he later stayed for three months as a Gap Ethiopia volunteer teacher. Matt then trained as a civil engineer but has now devoted himself to the work of Link Ethiopia, working full-time to develop the organisation along its present ambitious path.

Ashley England is Link Ethiopia's very capable Treasurer, as well as being the Link Coordinator at Dr Challoner's Grammar School in Amersham. He is an energetic and highly skilled mathematician who guides us wisely in all matters financial, and who has now visited Ethiopia on two occasions.

Sachin Shah is the organisation's School Links Manager. He developed a passion for the country during his school years, returning many times throughout his student days in Cambridge. He has now embarked upon a career in the Civil Service, but gives many hours of work and enthusiasm to Link Ethiopia.

Rupert Bateson visited Ethiopia for the first time in 2000, and he now has taken our Gap Ethiopia volunteer scheme under his very capable wing. He has returned to the country since then and is now guiding the organisation through the present expansion of its volunteer scheme.

Steve Roberts is the Webmaster and Technical Advisor for the Link Ethiopia website and was central to redesigning of the site in 2001 and 2007. He too was a member of the group visit in 2000 before entering the international I.T. services industry. Without his skill and expertise, the website you are looking at would be much less effective!

James Love and Rose Bradbury are both enthusiastically involved in the funding aspect of Link Ethiopia's existence. James was once a Gap Ethiopia volunteer out in Gondar, but now he and Rose both give generously of their time and energy to ensure that we are financially secure and thriving.

Jane Blues has two adult sons who were both members of Link Ethiopia group visits in past years. She later followed in their footsteps to experience the country for herself and is now the editor of the successful and colourful monthly news update which is sent all over the world.

Melaku Getachew is a notable London lawyer and is our main source of advice when it comes to anything Ethiopian or indeed legal. Without his good-natured guidance and help, so many of our projects would be less well focused and accomplished.

Jean Bailey is Chair of the Anglo-Ethiopian Society of Great Britain and founder of the Aysanew Kassa Trust. She monitors our actions and progress with northern good humour but a perspicacious eye, and we appreciate her support very greatly.

Chris Clare is Deputy Headmaster at Dr Challoner's Grammar School in Amersham, the birthplace of Link Ethiopia's activities many years ago. His wisdom and experience have been a great strength in Link Ethiopia's recent ambitious developments.

We are honoured to have Richard and Rita Pankhurst as the joint Presidents of Link Ethiopia. Their names are known and appreciated throughout the length and breadth of Ethiopia as enthusiastic guardians of the nation's history. We thank them both for their support and constant encouragement.
