Our funding comes from various sources:

• individual donations and regular giving
• support from trusts and institutions
• events such as our African Banquets
• school fundraising
• merchandising
• our Gap Ethiopia scheme

We are committed to minimising administration costs so that as much money as possible can go towards our work in Ethiopia and the UK. We currently employ only one Ethiopian and one UK staff member, with the rest of our team working entirely voluntarily. As a small charity, we rely on the support of individuals and particularly regular giving in order to maintain our work.

In 2009, we teamed up with award-winning web host Memset, who provide all our online resources free of charge. As well as becoming the UK's first Carbon Neutral web host in 2006 and being nominated PC Pro Best Web Host for four years running, they have a number of environmentally-friendly initiatives including sending end-of-life hardware to Africa via Computer Aid International.
